Uses of surgical microscopes

In the past, to cover these devices, permanent covers were made that were sewn as fabrics that fit the machine, and after each use, they had to be washed, disinfected, packaged, and sterilized.

These steps involve the staff of the CSR department with sterilized steps and waste a lot of time. If a large number of surgeries are to be performed during the day, the cover sterilizing process is practically costly and requires a lot of equipment and labor.

In addition, the fabric covers are not impermeable and moisture penetrates into them, therefore during surgery, blood and discharge throwing from the position of surgery or contact with the hands of members of the surgical team penetrate into the fabric covers, they will be non-sterilized.
